January Goals

I can't believe January is finally here. A new year, and a fresh start! I'm keeping my January goals pretty simple, but first, a little review of December! We had a ton of fun, and knocked out every single goal!

December Goals
Make a peppermint pie
I shared this Peppermint Pie recipe here. Yum!
Get hot chocolate and drive around looking at lights
We went with our second family on Christmas Eve Eve. We picked up Starbucks, and drove through a huge light display, and then walked through another little display to Santa's village. It was so much fun!
Spend time with Zach and Lea while they're in town
We went to dinner in downtown and then to Billy Bob's Texas. This has become somewhat of a December tradition, I think we've gone every December for at least the past five years. It's always a group of us, and it's always a blast.
Visit Vitruvian Park Lights
We did this really early in December. I didn't get a good picture, but we love the lights here. Its a massive park area with tons of small trees, each wrapped in a different color light. So pretty to walk through!
Document all of our Christmas season fun so I can share it here.
I shared our Christmas recap here!
Annual Christmas Eve Breakfast
One of my favorite traditions of the season. These biscuits are my favorite!
Help my mom host Christmas Eve
I made this cheese and grape tray, among other things!
Make our 2018 goals and bucket list
Stay tuned! I'll be sharing this tomorrow on the blog!

January Goals
Complete a squat challenge
(Already dreading this!)
Start eating healthier again
Declutter our clothing situation
(we have so much we never wear!)

I'm going to cap it at these three goals this month. I want to go into 2018 focusing on my health and fitness. I was pretty good at this last year but December was busy, so I need to get back on track. Also, decluttering our clothing situation is honestly a huge job that is probably going to take me a full month. (I've actually already started so make that more than a month! Ha!)
