Fit Friday no.7 (2017)

Today I'll be using my Fit Friday post to give a little review. A couple weeks ago I decided I wanted to review Plexus Slim here on my blog. I purchased some of the "pink drink" awhile back, and it had just been sitting in my pantry, unused, for awhile. I don't know why, but I had just never gotten around to using it. I wanted to use it consistently for a week, so I could see if I had any results from it. I thought if I committed to sharing about it here, that I would actually follow through and be consistent. (I was right!)
 I became curious about Plexus awhile ago, after hearing how it helped one of my friends. She was having some blood sugar issues, and it really helped her keep it better under control. Then I heard of another girl, a friend of a friend, that was helped greatly with it as well. She was taking the probiotics (which I have yet to take) and it was resolving some stomach issues she was going through.
Plexus is advertised as a weight loss aide, but both of these people were actually receiving health benefits from this stuff. I was intrigued. I had friends who had used it, and I had tasted the drink and knew it was good, so when a friend offered a discount on some of the drink mix I jumped and bought some.
Day 1. I mixed my first packet with ice water and drank up first thing in the morning. I had tried the old drink mix before, but this was my first time trying the new one. It was pretty good, kind of fruity. I could tell from day one that this helped with my hunger. Normally, I am starving in the morning, but I was really satisfied with the drink. I still ate breakfast, just a little later, and a little less, than normal. It didn't make me not able to eat, like I know some diet pills and drinks do.
Day 2. Really the same as day one. I was still liking the drink, and wasn't feeling very hungry.
Day 3. I really started noticing a difference in my energy. I realized I hadn't really been tired and run down the past few days.
Day 4. I was still feeling great. I found myself wanting another "pink drink" that afternoon, but didn't since I knew I only had enough for seven days.
Day 5. I stepped on the scale for the first time since the morning before I started the challenge. To my surprise, I had lost four pounds. I hadn't changed anything other than adding my morning drink. I was still eating the things I normally eat, so I felt like this was a direct result of the Plexus. (I normally eat pretty healthy, but I like chocolate so..)
Day 6. I started researching more about this stuff. Where do I sign up, how much is this going to cost me?.. that sort of thing.
Day 7. I was bummed that this was the last drink packet I had in my possession. I wanted more already. I loved the way this stuff made me feel.

Now, I don't know that it was all from the Plexus Slim, but during this week I ended up losing five pounds. More importantly, I felt great! I made sure not to change anything else I was doing. It's a little more expensive than I like, but I think I'll be continuing it anyway. For me, I feel like its worth it! I'm looking forward to trying more of their products soon!
