Sayulita Part 1

I'm finally going to share a little bit from our trip to Sayulita, Mexico today. We made this trip to celebrate my oldest friend, Julia's wedding. (We have been friends for 26 years!) The first few days of our trip were filled with wedding festivities that I'll be sharing today. The second part of our trip was spent exploring the town, just the two of us. I'll share that part in a few days.

Drinks to kick off vacation!
The view as we checked in to our villa was stunning!
First stop, the pool! This was the Bride and Groom's suite, where we spent most of our time during our first few days here. This villa is at the very top of Villa Amor. Check out that view in the background! (You'll see it over and over in these photos!)

This was our first night here, ready to venture in to town for dinner.
Night two, welcome cocktails with the Bride and Groom.
Day three was spent in the pool again, followed by the rehearsal and dinner. I love this photo of Chris and I at the rehearsal, right before we headed off to dinner.
The rehearsal dinner was a beautiful, private spot, right on the beach, complete with taco bar and a churro cart!
Day four of our trip, was the wedding.
Popping champagne with the girls the morning of the big day.
Post wedding with my sweet, sweet husband. The wedding was absolutely stunning, and filled with so much love. I felt so blessed to be a part of it.

I anticipated having so many more pictures to share, but I really just focused on enjoying myself and celebrating with one of my very best friends. I am so thankful for my sweet husband, for actually taking his phone with him, and pulling it out to grab some great pictures. He knows how important capturing memories is to me, and how photos are even more important now that I have began blogging. He's such a champ! I am so happy to have been a part of this wedding. Julia really deserves all the happiness in the world, and I am just so excited for her to experience this next season. Marriage is just so special! Anyway, enough sappiness for today! In Part 2 I'll share the last couple days of our trip. We explored the beach, a cemetery, the jungle, the highest point of town, flipped a four wheeler, sailed to a tiny town, hiked to a waterfall, and of course, shopped! Follow my blog so you wont miss that post in a few days!
